I have completed all 6 modules but I didn't receive a certificate.

Each module has an evaluation that is to be completed and printed. (Print one copy and send to CHS campus Attention: Saul Valenzuela and one for yourself) The evaluation serves as your certificate.

I “logged in” but I can’t get back to the training modules

Once you log in at the site, save the TBSI online URL address to your favorites and you’ll be able to access the site anytime.

What’s my “log in” password?

There is not a log in password for accessing the TBSI Online site. You will need to access the URL address and then click on the TBSI Online Training Modules link http://www.txbsi.org/training/html/index.html

How long does it take to complete the training?

Prior knowledge of the material and proficiency in the use of technology are two factors that impact the length of time it takes to complete the training. Average completion times for all 6 modules range from 1.5 to 4 hours

Positive Behavioral Support (PBS)

Established in 2001 in response to Senate Bill 1196, the Texas Behavior Support Initiative (TBSI) is designed to build capacity in Texas schools for the provision of positive behavioral support (PBS) to all students. The goal of PBS is to enhance the capacity of schools to educate all students, especially students with challenging behaviors, by adopting a sustained, positive, preventative instructional approach to school wide discipline and behavior management. This approach focuses on teaching and encouraging positive school wide behavioral expectations and increasing school capacity to support sustained use of empirically validated practices. Below are links that will aid teachers building capacity in this area, for more information you may request additional information from:
