Canutillo ISD is the Recipient of two grants from the Texas Center for Service Learning, a K-12 School-Community Partnership Grant Program 2003-2006 and a S.T.A.R.S. of Texas Grant 2006-2009. The purpose of the S.T.A.R.S. of Texas Grant is to create models of excellence utilizing the Service Learning framework: Student leadership, Thoughtful service, Authentic learning, Reflective practice and strong partnerships.
