Counseling Services

As information about Coronavirus unfolds, there can be a wide range of thoughts, feelings and reactions. Fear and anxiety can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger. Our CISD School Counselors are valuable supports during this time. A list of helpful tips, lessons, community resources as well as counselor contact information is below.

During these difficult times, Canutillo ISD is aware of the overwhelming stress that adults and children are faced with as the Coronavirus unfolds. For this reason, Canutillo ISD is offering a Support Services Help line to assist with the various challenges that our families are facing.

This line is meant to be a resource line to the Canutillo Community for non-life-threatening situations. Please leave a message at this number 915-877-7686 clearly stating your name, situation, phone number, and your student’s home campus. A Canutillo representative will contact you within 60 to 90 minutes. Due to the high volume of calls, please keep in mind that each call with a representative will be limited to no more than 10 minutes. Calls after 4 p.m. will be returned the following business day.
