Voters in the Canutillo Independent School District on May 4 will consider a bond referendum on May 4 to address growth in the district, aging infrastructure and the continued enrollment loss impacting the CISD budget. The $387-million bond proposal would fund new construction, school repairs and other projects in every corner of Canutillo.

The Canutillo School Board approved a Contract with The Voters, a legally-binding resolution that outlines the specific list of projects included in the Bond, and commits the District to funding and completing these projects as a promise to taxpayers.


The Canutillo Bond 2024 is based on the input of districtwide surveys and recommendations of the Canutillo Facilities Assessment Task Force made up of a parents, students, taxpayers and civic leaders to help the District determine appropriate next steps.
