This is the image for the news article titled Message from Board President Armando Rodriguez - April 5Dear Canutillo ISD Community,

I am excited to announce an initiative that embodies the spirit of community engagement and empowerment: door-to-door outreach to educate our neighbors about the upcoming Canutillo Bond 2024 election.

Starting this Saturday, and every Saturday leading up to May 4, principals, teachers, students, and parents will hit the streets to engage directly with voters. Armed with information about the bond, these dedicated volunteers will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

I encourage you to welcome these volunteers with open arms if they come knocking on your door. They are not mere canvassers; they are ambassadors of information, committed to spreading facts about the bond and ensuring that every member of our community is well-informed.

You'll easily recognize our volunteers by their Canutillo shirts and uniforms, many of which will bear the emblems of the campuses they represent. Their presence in our neighborhoods is a testament to our collective commitment to transparency and community involvement.

While some schools may sit out this Saturday due to hosting events like the fun walk race at Reyes Elementary or the middle school track meet at Canutillo Middle, rest assured that information about the bond will still be available at these events for anyone interested.

This grassroots outreach effort is just one facet of our broader strategy to inform the public and equip them with the knowledge needed to make an informed decision about the bond. We understand that this decision impacts every family differently, and it is our responsibility to ensure that you have access to all the relevant information.

If you happen to miss the door knockers or the events, fret not. You can still learn more about the bond by visiting www.canutillo-isd.org/bond2024 or by emailing p[email protected] with your questions. We are committed to providing multiple avenues for you to stay informed and engaged in this important process.

Ultimately, the Canutillo Bond 2024 election is about investing in the future of our schools and our community. It's about ensuring that our students have access to safe, modern facilities and opportunities for academic and personal growth. But most importantly, it's about empowering you, our community members, to shape the future of Canutillo ISD.

Thank you for your continued involvement in our district. Together, we can build a brighter tomorrow for generations to come. And don’t forget, early voting is April 22-30 at Gallegos Park, 7351 Bosque Rd., and the El Paso County Northwest Annex, 435 Vinton Rd.

Sincerely,

Armando Rodriguez
Board President
