Students who are accepted to Northwest Early College High School complete a 4 year high school degree and a 2 year Associates of Arts degree at the same time. Students apply to attend Northwest during their 8th grade year.
What Is Needed To Take Dual Credit Classes?
Students need to pass the corresponding TSIA test before they can take a dual credit class. The TSIA has an ELAR (Reading, writing, essay) portion and a Math portion. Students can take the ELAR test as early as 8th grade.
