Pregnancy Related Services

Students are offered peer, group or individual counseling through support groups, case management, and referrals to outside agencies.

Students are provided career counseling and job readiness training.

All students are assisted in applying for financial assistance for child care services with Workforce Solution Borderplex Child Care Services (CCS). Students may also be eligible to receive free child care services from the Early Head Start program offered through Region XIX (ESC).

Canutillo ISD offers a school bus transportation service to and from the campus or child-care facility.

Students attend classes offered through the regular school setting and receive additional information through guest speakers and lessons. Various topics pertaining to parenting skills, social responsibility, child development, home and family living, etc. are offered.

Students are provided assistance in obtaining medical and financial assistance and other social support service offered through government, private and public agencies.

A certified teacher will provide instruction to students eligible to remain confined at home or hospital settings for school attendance credit. Students must obtain valid medical documentation to become eligible for this service.
