Student Medical Health

School nurses coordinate student health care between the medical home, family, and school. As an essential member of interdisciplinary teams, school nurses bring the health expertise necessary to develop a student’s Individualized Education Plan or Section 504 plans, provide educational classes in health and hygiene and respond to crisis situations.
