COVID-19 Updates

WEEKLY REPORT:

January 23-29, 2023

*Cases included in this report are those that have been confirmed and provided a copy of a COVID-19 positive test through the CISD Self-Report form. Cases that are currently under investigation or have not provided a copy of a positive test result, or a full report has not been submitted are not included but isolation/quarantine protocols have been initiated by our CISD team.

**CISD Main offices include staff from Central Office, Lone Star Building, Facilities and Transportation Services.

Figure 2. Out of the 465 positive COVID-19 accumulated cases for the 2022- 2023 school year, 159 have been identified among employees or staff (34.2%) and 306 among students (65.8%).

Immunization Events at CISD

  • COVID-19 vaccines for anyone 5 years of age and up, including adults will continue to be offered at each one of our campuses. Immunizations are FREE and opened to the community.
  • You can find the drive-thru UMC Mobile clinic from 9am until 2pm, or until immunizations run out for that day.
  • Please note that Children under 5 years MUST be receive their immunization with their primary care provider.
