Clark appointed principal at Northwest Early College High School

HIs appointment is effective immediately.

Clarke is an experienced educator with more than 15 years in public education. He last served as the Dean of Students at Northwest until his appointment this week.

“We’re thrilled to continue the legacy of high academic achievement at Northwest Early College through the leadership of Frank Clark,” said CISD Superintendent Dr. Pedro Galaviz. “Mr. Clark brings with him a wealth of knowledge in secondary education and a commitment to the early-college concept that is unparalleled.”

Northwest Early College is a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon school designed to give students a head start into their college career by allowing them to earn both high-school and college credit concurrently. Most graduates of Northwest receive an associate’s degree from El Paso Community College by the time they earn their CISD high-school diploma.

Clark is a graduate of Trine University in Indiana, where he received a bachelor’s of science in business administration. He has a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Before arriving at Northwest last year, Clarke served as an advanced academics coordinator in both the Socorro and Canutillo school districts. He began his career in education as a teacher in the Metropolitan School District of Steuben County, Indiana, before moving to El Paso and teaching in the El Paso Independent School District.
