The Canutillo Independent School District’s Child Nutrition Department’s dinner program is in full swing, offering free meals to children ages 1 through 18 years old.
All children are welcome to partake in the program at any of the participating campuses. The program runs weekly from Monday through Thursday.
“We are happy to be able to continue our dinner program this year,” said Director of Child Nutrition Marco Macias. “Inflation and the rising cost of groceries is taking its toll on families across the nation and providing free meals to children in our community can help ease that burden and ensure every child has access to a nutritious meal after school.”
All CISD elementary school campuses, Alderete Middle School, Canutillo Middle School and Canutillo High School will be participating in the dinner program. For hours of distribution for a specific campus, contact the campus or call 915-877-7495.
