CISD is in the process of procuring services by an outside entity to provide the Facilities & Transportation Department with two electric buses and the required infrastructure to include charging stations and electrical upgrades of the electric system at the facilities & transportation yard.
In an effort for collaboration and transparency, the District is calling on three community members who would be interested in serving on the evaluation committee to help District officials in the procurement process and select the most suitable vendor of services.
Members must be willing to commit to two days of service on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at Central Office for approximately 4 hours, and Friday, Aug. 26, from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; agree to sign a conflict of interest questionnaire, a non-disclosure agreement; and remain under a cone of silence for the duration of the solicitation.
The cone of silence prohibits any communication regarding a particular request for qualifications or bid solicitation after they have been advertised to protect the professional integrity of the procurement process.
