CISD Hosts Free Vaccination Clinics

This is the image for the news article titled CISD Hosts Free Vaccination ClinicsTo usher in a safe and healthy new school year, Canutillo ISD is hosting a schedule of free COVID-19 vaccination clinics available to all community members beginning July 18 - Aug. 19.

The Pfizer vaccine will be administered at all clinics to anyone 5 years of age and up. Parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a consent form for their child to get vaccinated. First and second doses or boosters are available at each clinic. Click here for full schedule, times and locations of available clinics.

In addition to COVID-19 vaccines, on July 27 at Central Office, July 28 at Bill Childress Elementary School and July 29 at Congressman Silvestre and Carolina Reyes Elementary School, free cancer prevention screening sponsored by the Cancer Prevention Institute of Texas (CPRIT) and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Department of Family and Community Medicine will be available to eligible participants.

Screenings include: colorectal cancer, cervical cancer and breast cancer. Free human papillomavirus vaccinations also are available on the designated dates.
