Texas Senate Bill 13 Compliance

Canutillo ISD is committed to maintaining transparency in all areas that impact our students and families, including the selection of library materials available on our campuses. In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 13 of the 89th Legislature, public school districts are required to post on the District's website the titles of books proposed to be added to school libraries along with a process for community members to provide feedback.

Below you will find a link to the complete list of library titles being added to Canutillo ISD libraries. We encourage parents and community members to review these materials and stay informed about the resources offered to students.

If you would like to submit a comment, request a review or formally challenge the inclusion of a specific title, a link to the district’s Library Material Comment and Challenge Form is also provided. All submissions will be reviewed in accordance with district policy and state law to ensure our library collections continue to meet the educational needs of our students.
