Canutillo ISD Public Information Office earns state school PR honors
The Canutillo Independent School District Public Information earned 15 Star Awards for school public relations honoring work done to promote and showcase the students and educators in Texas.
 
Canutillo ISD earned 11 Gold Star Awards, 3 Silver Stars Awards and 1 coveted Best in Category Award for promotional and branding work performed and published during the 2023-24 school year.
 
The Star Awards recognize the best school public relations work done by school districts. Awards are given for writing, photography, graphic design, video production, digital work, branding and marketing.
 
“It is an honor to tell the stories of the students and teachers of the Canutillo Independent School District, and to have those stories bring more recognition to the amazing things happening in this corner of Texas,” Canutillo ISD Director of Communications Gustavo Reveles said. “The work the Public Information Office produces is top quality, and it reflects the level of commitment that exists at all levels in the District.”
 
The District received Gold Star Awards, the highest rated award in each category, for the following work:
Silver Stars, the second highest-rated award, were given for the following work.
The District earned a coveted Best in Category Award – the best in show category – in Published News Writing for the “Valentine’s Day Stories of Canutillo’s enduring Love.”
