Northwest Early College High School Student Selected for Prestigious Dartmouth Program

Northwest Early College High School rising senior Inés Andrade has been selected to participate in Dartmouth College's highly competitive Dartmouth Bound Program this summer.

Andrade, who also will serve as one of two student advisors to the Canutillo ISD Board of Trustees during the 2026-27 school year, was chosen for the four-day program scheduled for July 19-22 on Dartmouth's campus in Hanover, New Hampshire.

The all-expenses-paid program brings together high-achieving students from across the nation to experience life at the Ivy League institution. Dartmouth College will cover travel, housing and meal expenses for participants.

During the visit, students will learn about the college application process, participate in essay-writing workshops, receive personalized financial aid estimates and connect with admissions officers, faculty members and current Dartmouth students.

The program is designed to introduce talented high school seniors to Dartmouth's undergraduate experience and provide resources to help them navigate the path to higher education.

Andrade is among the top student leaders at Northwest Early College High School, where she has distinguished herself academically and through her service to the district. Her selection reflects the caliber of students being developed in Canutillo ISD's college-preparatory programs.

Dartmouth Bound participants will spend four days exploring campus life and learning about opportunities available at one of the nation's most selective colleges.
