Canutillo ISD District Science Fair sparks curiosity and innovation
The Canutillo ISD District Science Fair brought excitement and discovery to Alderete Middle School on Feb. 22, as students from across the district gathered to showcase their scientific talents.
The event featured hands-on stations dedicated to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), allowing participants to engage in fun, educational activities that deepened their understanding of the world around them.
Students who competed in the district fair were selected as the top projects from their respective campuses in third through fifth grade. These young scientists impressed judges and attendees alike with their innovative experiments and research.
“The District Science Fair is always a great opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity while they explore the world of science,” said Superintendent Dr. Pedro Galaviz. “Participating in their campus science fairs and advancing to the District level not only builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills but ignites a passion for discovery. We are proud to support and celebrate these bright young minds.”
