Cindy Zuniga, Secretary
Cindy Zuñiga was elected to the Canutillo ISD Board of Trustees in November 2022 to serve a four-year term. A proud product of Canutillo ISD, she attended Davenport Elementary, Canutillo Middle School, and Canutillo High School. A native of Westway, Zuñiga and her family have been longtime advocates for their community across generations. She currently operates Tamales Lupita, the beloved family-owned restaurant located in the heart of Canutillo. Through her work, Zuñiga has had the opportunity to serve a diverse range of customers—from local families to national and international leaders.
Her community involvement includes serving as a member of the Canutillo Alumni Foundation for Education and as a founding member of the Davenport Elementary PTO. She frequently supports local causes and Canutillo schools through her restaurant and community connections.
Zuñiga continues to live in Westway with her husband, César, and their three children, all of whom have attended or currently attend Canutillo ISD schools.
