Seeking Solutions

Message from the SuperintendentDear Canutillo community,

As many of you know, we are facing some critical needs within our district. We must address crucial deferred maintenance projects at our campuses and maximum capacity challenges at Reyes Elementary. In addition, the district invested $10 million in electronic devices for our kids to participate in remote learning, which must be paid back.

This is our district, our schools, our kids and we need to come together to find viable solutions to address these pressing matters. These needs are not going away without some active solutions, engagement, collaboration, and compromise on the part of everyone invested in our future.

In the near future, you will be receiving an invite for ThoughtExchange, and I look forward to your feedback to help us move forward.

COVID-19 Updates
Let us end the year right and focus on keeping ourselves and others healthy in 2022. We will be offering a number of mobile vaccination clinics at our campuses in the coming week to help us start our holiday break off on the right foot. Let us all aim to get vaccinated, have our children vaccinated and get needed boosters.

At our vaccination clinics, COVID-19 and influenza vaccines for ages 5 years and up, including COVID-19 boosters, will be available to our students, teachers, staff and their families. Click here to access the schedule of upcoming clinics.
