As we navigate the final days of early voting for the Canutillo Bond 2024, I am reminded of the critical role that civic engagement plays in shaping the future of our community and our schools. With early voting continuing through April 30, I want to take this opportunity to encourage all eligible voters to cast their ballots and make their voices heard.

I am proud to shine a spotlight on an invaluable resource for our graduating seniors: the Canutillo Alumni Foundation for Excellence, affectionately known as CAFÉ. This esteemed alumni association annually awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving students, empowering them to pursue their dreams of higher education.

The Board of Trustees on Tuesday approved a change to the current school calendar that will move the last day of classes in the District from Thursday, May 30, to Wednesday,

Starting next fall, thrift shoppers will be able to buy vintage clothes and wares from a new on-campus Goodwill Store that will be staffed by enterprising Canutillo ISD special-education students who will be getting life-changing job skills.
